The Mirrors of Silence
The "Mirrors of Silence" were born from looking back in joy through the right to memory.
"Whoever forgets is not worth the pain" said Nicolae Iorga. Surrounded by glamour and false values, we are too quick to forget about those people who, on the scale of time, lived meaningful lives to build a better world for us all. A memory recall can put in the right perspective the things that really matter.
The people of The Mirrors of Silence are silent outcries in a world of indifference. I see them simple, austere and bright, like saints, wearing their tragedies without ostentation.
